‘I am extremely lucky to have found Angie Ash when I did. I have MS, have got through breast cancer, was in a toxic relationship and was at a point where divorce and my house-sale were happening... lots of stress in the mix then. PLUS I was losing weight even though I was underweight already and my gut wasn’t working properly. I decided to do the American thing and put together a little team to help me get through it all. Angie was one of the first ones on it and is kind, knowledgeable, friendly and very good at what she does. ‘I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in January of this year (2019) and in February suffered a flare that saw me unable to work. Needless to say, I felt awful. Fatigued, in pain and swelling throughout my body and fearful that I would never be fully well again. Some researching led me to look at the links between diet and autoimmune conditions, willing to do anything to get better I started a gluten free and dairy free diet. A close friend supporting me at the time recommended Angie and I arranged an appointment. I didn’t know what to expect from having an appointment via Skype! But I immediately felt relaxed, Angie was understanding and easy to talk to. Angie’s detective work throughout that first session was amazing! She is so intuitive and was able to identify significant issues even from childhood linked to my current health situation and digestion issues. Turns out that the IBS that I’ve been putting up with for 20 years, could be a key factor in triggering autoimmune immune conditions like RA. Over the months we have met regularly, I have had a number of tests and been taking various supplements to support my digestion and inflammation in my body caused by the autoimmune response. I still have work to do, but I never would have believed in February that I would feel how I do now. I am back to yoga, walking my dog every day, I have increased hours at work (after having reduced them by less than half!), I’m able to do more round the home, I have less pain, more energy and even my 20 year long battle with IBS is improving! Angie has advised and supported me on a number of issues, autoimmune and IBS were just the start. Back in February, I felt like I’d lost control of my body, guilt for being poorly, guilt for letting people down and being a burden, I was exhausted and in pain.
